Opportunities for full and part-time commissioned Sales/Advertising Associates in Jefferson County 

Lakewood based Jeffco Business Guide, a division of RKL Consulting Group, is currently seeking friendly, ambitious, and technically savvy full and part-time commissioned Sales/Advertising professionals, with a passion for customer service, to join our team.  

Description, Criteria and Requirements:

Two primary responsibilities:

1.     Sell advertising for the Jeffco Business Guide (JBG) web site and electronic magazine to local businesses and community groups/associations within Jefferson County (JBG is a division of RKL Consulting Group)

2.     Sell additional services offered by RKL Consulting Group including web site design and hosting services, electronic flip-book publications, video production and printing services, and Apple computer sales and technical support

• Training will be provided

• Opportunities available in several Jefferson County cities including Superior, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Morrison, Lakewood, Littleton, Bowmar, Edgewater, Mountain View, Lakeside, Arvada, Westminster, and unincorporated Jefferson County including Evergreen, Conifer, and other mountain communities 
• Initial leads will be provided, however, all candidates are expected to build and maintain their own leads in their territory
• Paid on commission only based on advertising sales volume (i.e., this is an independent contractor opportunity, not a regular employee position – independent contractors are responsible for paying their own taxes and insurance)
• Requires professional oral and written communication skills, a strong customer service focus, excellent follow-through skills, composure, honesty and integrity, and an action-oriented approach
• Business casual attire is required and must have a reliable vehicle and laptop computer (these will not be provided to you)
• Criminal background check, references, proof of valid U.S. driver’s license and auto insurance, proof of general liability insurance, and a signed worker’s compensation waiver document are required
