This delightful area is home to many of the original buildings from the old Pearce Ranch in Golden Gate Canyon. The restored cabins, gardens, buildings, and barns were relocated by volunteers in 1995. It o ers a glimpse of homestead life complete with chickens, a blacksmith shop, root cellar, hitching post, prospector’s slice box and a one-room schoolhouse. A pole barn stage nestled into alongside the creek provides a natural amphitheater for cowboy poetry, music concerts, and reenactments.
