This was originally a Beaux Arts style Golden High School in 1924 and Junior High School 1956-88. The Golden Civic Foundation raised funds to acquire the building for Colorado Mountain Club & American Alpine Club. It has a climbing wall, museum, extensive library, conference space, and auditorium.
