I.]. Benedict designed this rustic lodge of naive timber and rock in 1917
to become a restaurant, campground and event center. Within Genesee
Mountain Park, it served as a gambling hall, scout camp and youth hostel
and is now used for weddings and event meetings.

Katherine Craig Park of 56 acres, north of I-70, became a Civil
Conservation Corps camp during the 1930s. Girl Scouts used it from 1968
to 2000. It is used now for special events.
